I will perform the brit milah in a well lit room, on a dining room table or bridge table height table, covered with a cloth.
On the day if the brit milah ceremony there are a few things you will need to have handy:
- three chairs around the table
- standard pillow with pillowcase
- small garbage pail
- extra diapers
- swaddling cloth
- candlesticks, candles, matches
- kiddush cup
- kosher wine or grape juice
- challah
- tallit
- extra kippot for guests
The following items should be purchased before the circumcision, and will be used for aftercare:
- 15-30 gm tube of Vaseline
- package of 2×2 or 3×3 gauze pads (they do not need to be sterile)
